Change the world

I have given quite a lot to so called charity. Doubting it more and more. While I can see that the organizations behind the charitable acts gets more and more aggressive on marketing I get this feeling that it is no more about raising the standards for the people receiving the charity but raising the income for the organization. And then I found Kiva.org. It connects the reciver and the donor with a project and a common idea about where the money will go and what will be the effect of them. It´s a loan, so if it comes back you can borrow it out again, maximising the effect of your money and it´s the organization, not the receiver, that is dependant on charity. I like it a lot.

Check out how you can change somebodys world via Kiva.org here – and check out my portfolio here.

Just found this video about Kiva on NY Times.
