American NBC has a growing numbers of videos to watch on their website, many of them the regular type of videos you would expect from a broadcaster, like previews of coming programs and excerpts from prime time television. But now there is more. They have gathered the viral favorites from their own portfolio of clips and programs and made them available from the “Web Favorites” section at their websites videoplayer. An example is their “Lazy Sunday”-clip from Saturday Night Live, which gives NBC, the originator of the clip, a third place when you search for the video on Google, clearly a benefit for them. Especially in a time where 80% of American teenagers can´t name the four American networks.
